Job Description
We are seeking a reliable and customer-focused Delivery Driver to join our team in Memphis Tennessee. As a Delivery Driver you will play a crucial role in ensuring timely and accurate deliveries to our valued customers while representing our company with professionalism and enthusiasm.
- Safely operate a company vehicle or personal vehicle to deliver products to customers in the Memphis area
- Load and unload packages ensuring proper handling and organization
- Verify delivery information and obtain necessary signatures upon completion
- Navigate efficiently through local streets and traffic patterns to optimize delivery routes
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries mileage and any issues encountered during shifts
- Provide exceptional customer service addressing any concerns or questions from recipients
- Perform basic vehicle maintenance checks and report any issues to management
- Handle cash transactions and credit card payments when required
- Adhere to all company policies traffic laws and safety regulations
- Collaborate with dispatch and other team members to ensure smooth operations
Pay is $10 per hour while on delivery and inside of the store. Drivers also get $1.50 per delivery. Tips and mileage paid daily!!!
Qualifications :
- Valid drivers license with a clean driving record
- Must be 18 years or older
- Proof of valid vehicle insurance
- Reliable transportation
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Outstanding customer service orientation with a friendly demeanor
- Basic math and cash handling abilities
- Physical capability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 lbs
- Proficiency in using GPS navigation systems and mobile delivery apps
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
