Northwestern Medicine DHI is seeking a BE/BC fellowship trained Gastroenterologist to join our team at Northwestern Memorial Hospital with an opportunity for outpatient clinical activity at a downtown satellite location (Old Irving Park 4445 W. Irving Park Road). Our board-certified physicians evaluate diagnose and treat a wide range of digestive disorders using advanced diagnostic and endoscopic techniques.
The general gastroenterology position will share inpatient service at NMH and provide outpatient care in the clinic and endoscopy settings. An ideal candidate should be competent in basic upper and lower endoscopy enteral access (PEG placement) management of GI emergencies such as upper and lower GI bleeding food impactions and management of volvulus.
