This position is responsible for managing security operations at the Raytheon location in McKinney TX. The primary duties include serving as the Facility Security Officer (FSO) under 32 CFR Part 117 National Industrial Security Program (NISP). The selected candidate will report to the Raytheon Associate Director of the Central Region and will also oversee offsite locations in the greater McKinney area.
What You Will Do
- Manage a team of security professionals to ensure compliance with the National Industrial Security Program (NISP).
- Administer company programs for handling and safeguarding classified and proprietary information.
- Coordinate and collaborate with government and industry oversight agencies to facilitate inspections and audits of security programs and systems.
- Write policies and procedures to enforce compliance with government and company requirements in line with Raytheon and Raytheon Technology standards.
- Investigate security violations and prepare reports detailing procedures to prevent future occurrences.
- Coordinate with government agencies to obtain authorizations and acceptable deviations from regulations.
- Work closely with other security functions including Physical Security Cyber Security Security Business Partners and Special Programs as needed.
- Provide guidance subject matter expertise and mentorship to security personnel.
Qualifications You Must Have
- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science Information Systems Management Information Technology Criminal Justice STEM or Business. Other degrees may be considered. An advanced degree in a related field may substitute for 2 additional years of experience.
- Min of ten (10) years of experience in a Security or related field with at least Four (4) years of experience as a Facility Security Officer (FSO) or Assistant FSO managing a large complex facility.
- Previous experience in a leadership role.
- Experience with the National Industrial Security Program including working with the Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency or other Cognizant Security Agency personnel and interacting with various levels of senior and executive leadership.

The salary range for this role is 124000 USD - 250000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer including but not limited to the role function and associated responsibilities a candidates work experience location education/training and key skills.
