West Pines Behavioral Health Hospital located in Westminster CO provides specialized care for adolescents ages 13-17 adults age 18 and older and seniors age 55 and older who are living with mental health concerns and co-occurring substance use disorders. Our comprehensive approach is tailored to each age group addressing the mental physical emotional and social aspects of well-being to promote holistic healing.
We are currently seeking a Full-Time Inpatient Psychiatrist to join our skilled and patient focused team.
Compensation: $100 per patient visit.
Employment Status: Full-Time 1099 Contractor
Schedule: Mon-Fri flexible schedule during business hours

About the role:
Responsible for the diagnosis and treatment of mental illnesses through a combination of personal counseling (psychotherapy) psychoanalysis hospitalization and/or medication.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for providing clinical services to patients at the facility.
- Practice within medical protocols defined by federal and state regulations as well as by corporate facility policy or procedures.
- Review medical information on patients to ensure medical stability and to offer medical recommendations.
- Evaluate patients for mental emotional or behavioral disorders.
- Treat or direct treatment of patients utilizing a variety of psychotherapeutic methods and medications.
- Review and complete medical information for individual care plans documents services and information in a timely manner.
- Maintain confidential documentation compliance and billing in accordance with the policy and procedures.
Qualifications
- Doctoral degree in Medicine (MD or DO) required.
- One or more years post graduate degree practice preferred.
- Licensed in the state in which the facility(s) operate.
Licenses/Certifications:
- Board certification in psychiatry
- Current DEA credentials to prescribe controlled substances without restrictions and per regulation within the state in which the practitioner will be working.
