Job Summary
Coordinates with others on the research team on the implementation quality control and completion of research studies. Assists the Research Manager in accomplishing study objectives. Oversees research activities in an operational capacity while maintaining compliance to study protocols and with guidelines set by governing agencies.
Responsibilities
1. Under the supervision of the research manager ensures compliance to study protocol and manages quality control. 2. Maintains study tracking databases contact logs and records study documents used and/or procedures followed. 3. Coordinates and performs responsibilities related to research participants including screening and recruiting subjects scheduling calls and calendaring other study activities obtaining informed consent answering subject inquiries overseeing study contacts and acting as a liaison between participants and study-related parties. 4. Recognizes tracks and reports adverse events and protocol deviations. 5. Contributes to developing and documenting procedures and process checklists. 6. May support training of new or junior research staff. 7. Monitors study supply inventories. 8. Performs additional research functions and assists research team members as required.
