Position Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and strategicSocial Media & Communications Managerto lead our social media strategy and corporate communications efforts. This role is responsible for planning executing and optimizing our owned social media channels managing the editorial calendar monitoring media coverage and drafting press releases and corporate messaging. The ideal candidate is a creative storyteller with a strong grasp of digital trends and a keen eye for brand voice and reputation management.
Major Duties & Responsibilities:
Social Media Management
- Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with business goals.
- Own and manage theeditorial calendaracross all platforms (LinkedIn Instagram Facebook)
- Create curate and schedule engaging content that reflects the brands voice and values.
- Collaborate with internal teams (marketing sales originations product TLC) to align messaging and campaigns.
- Monitor social media trends tools and applications and apply best practices.
Corporate Communications
- Draft edit and distribute press releases media statements and executive communications.
- Support internal communications initiatives as needed to ensure consistency in messaging.
- Assist in crisis communication planning and execution.
- Monitor traditional and digital media for brand mentions industry trends and competitor activity.
- Analyze media coverage and social media performance; prepare regular reports with insights and recommendations.
- Maintain media contact lists and build relationships with key journalists and influencers.
Heres what you need:
- Bachelors degree in Communications Public Relations Marketing Journalism or a related field.
- 4 years of experience in social media management public relations or corporate communications.
- Exceptional writing editing and storytelling skills.
- Proficiency with social media management tools (e.g. Vista Sprout Meltwater) and analytics platforms.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

- Bachelors degree in Communications Public Relations Marketing Journalism or a related field.
