About the role:
The Research Officer supports multidisciplinary research projects focused on codesigned health research and innovation within the Department of Indigenous Studies.
The role provides technical and research support to senior staff across a range of projects including the contribution and application of knowledge in the field of translational health research with Aboriginal people to a range of projects conducted within theDepartment of Indigenous Studies.
The role involves gathering health data through exercise programs and engaging participants during program delivery. You will need to travel to remote communities across NSW to collect data following tailored protocols specific to each research site.
Additional responsibilities include preparing technical reports manuscripts and grant applications; supporting ethical and governance processes; coordinating research activities to meet project timelines.
This position reports to Associate Professor Kylie Gwynne and is funded until August 2027. Candidates can be based anywhere in NSW with occasional travel to UNSWs campus as required.
