Job Description
Provides human resources consultation and support to the BraunAbility Americas business unit specific to Manufacturing Operations to define and execute HR strategies that enable accomplishment of business objectives. Contribute to the development of workforce plans and understand external customer trends and issues in the manufacturing industry that could potentially impact business. Provides guidance to convert strategies into result-driven actions. Utilizes knowledge of various human resources functions to provide tactical support to line managers within manufacturing operations. Acts as a liaison with other HR functions. Provide change management support as needed. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
Essential Functions
Partner with operations leaders to understand and drive the organizations people strategy.
Act as a trusted advisor to Operation leads on HR-related matters including performance management employee relations talent management and organizational development.
Provide guidance and coaching to Operations leads on employee relations issues and conflict resolution.
Collaborate with the HR team to design and implement initiatives that foster employee engagement and retention.
Analyze HR metrics to identify trends and recommend proactive solutions for continuous improvement.
Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in HR Operations.
Ensure compliance with labor regulations and company policies.
Run workforce reports and assist with compiling and analyzing data.
Manage or assist with other duties as assigned.
Maintain a positive helpful attitude contributing to team efforts and maintaining good relationships with coworkers.
Knowledge Skills Abilities:
HR Best Practices: Understanding of human resources principles practices and procedures including recruitment employee relations performance management compensation and benefits organizational development and HR metrics.
Employment Law and Compliance: Knowledge of federal state and local employment laws and regulations to ensure organizational compliance and mitigate legal risks.
Data Analysis: Ability to analyze HR data and metrics to identify trends make data-driven decisions and measure the effectiveness of HR programs and initiatives.
Change Management: Skills in managing organizational change and transformation by facilitating communication managing resistance and supporting employees through transitions.
Strategic Thinking: Ability to think strategically and align HR initiatives with broader organizational goals and objectives.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with employees at all levels of the organization convey HR policies and procedures and influence stakeholders.
Relationship Building: Strong interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships with senior management department heads and employees acting as a trusted advisor and business partner.
Problem-Solving: Analytical and critical thinking skills to identify HR issues evaluate options and implement solutions that address organizational challenges.
Conflict Resolution: Ability to effectively manage employee relations issues resolve conflicts and promote a positive work environment.
Leadership: Ability to lead HR initiatives and projects influence decision-making processes and drive change within the organization.
Ethical Conduct: Commitment to maintaining confidentiality integrity and ethical standards in handling sensitive HR information and situations.
Adaptability: Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities business needs and organizational structures while maintaining a proactive and innovative approach to HR practices.
Team Collaboration: Capacity to work effectively as part of a collaborative HR team supporting colleagues sharing knowledge and contributing to the overall success of the HR function.
Proficient in MS Word Excel PowerPoint & Outlook. It is required that you can work in all Microsoft Office programs.
HRIS system administration. BraunAbility currently uses Workday.
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelors degree in human resources business or related field preferred. Proven experience as an HR Business Partner or similar role with at least 2 years in HR function. A combination of education and experience equal to 6 years will also be considered.
Strong knowledge of HR functions including compensation and benefits employee relations performance management and organizational development.
Experience in developing and implementing HR strategies aligned with business objectives.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to influence and partner with senior leaders.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
