Job Description
Compensation Range:
-Position Summary:
This is a tenured-track faculty position. Desire candidates with on-going professional development interests love of teaching and enthusiasm for campus and College committees and activities.
Required Qualifications:
Masters degree in physics or a masters degree with at least 18 graduate semester hours in Physics.
Preferred Qualifications:
Demonstrated instructional experience at the post-secondary level. Ability to teach an evening course if necessary. Instructional knowledge ofCANVASor another learning management system (LMS); and a commitment to students through exceptional teaching and learning
Supplemental Job Information:
To be considered applicants must have been awarded the qualifying degree and/or qualifying graduate semester hours. A faculty screening committee will analyze the strength of your application materials. You should include a complete online application CV cover letter unofficial transcripts and professional references. Applicants with a qualifying degree from an educational institution outside the United States and Canada must submit a foreign credential evaluation from one of the members of the National Association of Credential Evaluations Services (website: ). To complete your application you must attach a copy of your graduate academic transcripts from an accredited institution of higher education showing attainment of at least the minimum qualifications. If the transcript has not been updated to show the awarding of the required degree applicants must bring written documentation from the educational institution showing when the degree was awarded.
Pay Rate:
Faculty members will be assigned to the appropriate salary grade based on the contract with the faculty union.
- Grade 2: Masters Degree with 18 graduate semester hours in the field $50421.94
- Grade 2: Masters Degree with 60 graduate semester hours in the field $53004.11
- Grade 1: Earned Doctor in major field $55587.43
