Location:Mississauga ON (onsite)
As our nextElectrician / PLC Specialist youll be at the forefront of maintaining and enhancing our industrial automation systems. Your expertise inPLC programming CNC controls and electro-hydronic technologywill be crucial in ensuring our equipment runs efficiently and reliably.
Install program troubleshoot and maintain all types of PLCs
Repair and update CNC controls and related components
Conduct hydro inspections and implement error-proofing solutions
Test and repair industrial monitors control cards and power supplies
Modify CNC and PLC systems under OEM supervision
Provide hands-on training and technical support to team members
Document changes on electrical drawings and participate in team reviews
Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards (IATF 16949 / ISO 9001 / ISO 14001)
Participate in 5S activities and assist in training new maintenance staff
Ontario Trade Certificate as an Industrial Electrician (asset)
Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing facility
Certificate or diploma in Robotics Automation or PLCs
Strong understanding of Electro/Hydronic technology with at least 5 years of experience
Excellent teamwork and training capabilities
Reliable and mature individual with a proactive approach
Experience with CNC board-level repairs and servo control adjustments
Familiarity with lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives
Strong documentation and communication skills
