You will be updated with latest job alerts via email The Director of Data and Accountability oversees the collection analysis and interpretation of student data to inform decision-making improve student outcomes and ensure compliance with reporting requirements and accountability standards.
Occasional in-state and rare out-of-state travel is required for this position.

As directed by the Deputy Associate Superintendent provide leadership regarding the roles and responsibilities of the CTE Data and Accountability Team in order to facilitate the maintenance of the CTE Data portable and all associated date with-in the unit and improve automation and productivity
Responsible for overseeing the completion of technical data portions of required annual reports (such as the Career and Technical Education District Annual Report consolidation annual reports etc.)
Acts as the primary coordinator for the completion of all internal and external data requests related to career and technical education information
Facilitates the development of training for the CTE Data Portal and data reporting requirements including training materials and presentations for all data specification related to funding and all other district data requirements and information sharing related to career and technical education
Provides leadership as well as acts as a member of the Data and Accountability Team to facilitate changes to the CTE Data Portal functionality from the perspective of internal and external users of the systems
Facilitates troubleshooting of the CTE Data Portal systems functionality based on established business rules
Plays an active part in the analysis of data and provides input in the use of data for problem solving
Responsible for state-level data analysis including the development of state-level reporting and new department initiatives along with all major CTE Data elements and the identification of strengths and weaknesses as well as gaps in performance
Provides training and technical assistance to sub-recipients to facilitate accurate data entry into the CTE Data Portal and local data analysis to identify strengths and weaknesses as well as gaps in performance
Knowledge in:
System analysis
Relational Database Management System (RDBMS)
Information Technology and its business applications
Data collection processes
Data analysis and management
Applicants must have supervisory experience.
A bachelors degree or CIS equivalent or equivalent experience to substitute for the degree is required.
Applicants must have:
Education/training experience in work environments
Significant experience convening and facilitating work groups writing editing and conducting research
Extensive experience preparing and presenting information in multiple formats to multiple audiences
Skills in:
Write and maintain SQL queries
Task automation
Listening and communicating with a wide variety of individuals and organizations (all modalities email telephone and face-to-face)
Time management skills in the development of timelines planning processes and resource management
Problem-solving and data analysis
Able to prioritize conflicting demands on time and resources
Intermediate to advanced skills in using Microsoft Outlook Word Excel PowerPoint and Internet.
Ability to:
Think logically and with cognitive awareness
Organize implement and coordinate multiple projects and people simultaneously
Establish and maintain effective working relationships
Analyze data within associated reports
Preference will be given to those applicants with CTE Data reporting requirements.
