Accomplishes a variety of duties in the protection of life and property to include law enforcement crime prevention investigation and public assistance.San Bernardino Police Officers enjoy a variety of different duty assignments and work experiences that may not be available at other agencies. While performing the duties of this job employees are regularly required to use hand to finger handle feel or operate objects tools or controls; reach with hand and arms; stand; talk and hear; walk; sit; climb or balance; stoop kneel crouch or crawl; and lift or move up to 100 pounds.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision distance vision color vision peripheral vision depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.

  • Accomplish various clerical duties.
