Doug Smith Subaru is looking for a dynamic people-focused Sales Manager to lead our team!

What Youll Be Doing:

  • Lead coach and mentor our sales consultants to hit goals and grow their skills

  • Jumpstart daily huddles provide individual coaching and keep the team energized

  • Ensure every customer has an outstanding experiencefrom the first hello to final handshake

  • Implement and refine sales strategies that move the needle and build lasting relationships

  • Help manage inventory presentation vehicle appraisals and lot organization

  • Work closely with finance marketing and service departments to create seamless customer interactions

  • Maintain compliance with financial institutions and dealership policies during deal submissions

  • Stay involved and visibleengage with customers support your team and guide deals across the finish line

What Were Looking For:

  • 5 years of experience in automotive or related sales with at least 2 in a leadership role

  • Proven ability to coach motivate and elevate a sales team

  • Tech-savvy and comfortable navigating CRMs digital tools and dealership systems

  • Strong communicator problem-solver and customer advocate

  • Able to prioritize in a fast-paced environment and lead with positivity and professionalism

  • Must have a valid drivers license and required state certifications/licenses

Bonus Qualities:

  • Bachelors degree in Business Marketing or a related field (preferred)

  • A sharp eye for inventory presentation and an analytical mind for KPIs

  • Passion for people development and long-term customer relationships
