As Senior Manager of Membership Acquisition at Sams Club you will play an important part in driving Membership growth for years to come. We are looking for a talented highly analytical leader who will generate and utilize data-driven insights to inform decision-making across membership strategy & performance team. If you are an effective collaborator who is adaptable strategic agile and combines a member-first mindset with a bias for action to quickly drive results for our members and for the business this role is for you.

What youll do...

What you will do...

  • Own and Scale Sponsored Membership Partnerships: Lead B2B end-to-end strategy outreach negotiation and execution for partnerships where businesses offer Sams Club memberships to their associates. Develop and manage a robust pipeline across key verticals (e.g. healthcare education military) driving scalable acquisition growth from initial outreach through renewal.
  • Build High-Impact Collateral and Pitch Materials: Create tailored business cases and presentations for employer partners. Work with MAP Legal Merchants and Marketing to ensure proposals are compliant compelling and executable.
  • Drive Execution and Project Oversight: Manage partner onboarding and launch coordination across internal teams. Lead initiatives to streamline renewals automate workflows and ensure partner success
  • Track Performance and Optimize for Results: Monitor campaign KPIs in partnership with the Senior Analyst. Identify conversion gaps track CAC efficiency and recommend actionable optimizations.
  • Lead Strategic Planning and Performance Reporting: Contribute to MBRs/QBRs and financial planning with data-driven insights. Track spend versus plan analyze partner outcomes and inform roadmap decisions.
  • Support 3rd Party Direct to Consumer Partnerships: Act as a strategic advisor on affiliate/perks opportunities. Provide input on partner evaluations offer design and performance management.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work across MAP (Sams Club advertising arm) Finance Legal and Merchants to align on executional strategy and partner prioritization.
  • Coach and Support Junior Team Members: Guide the Manager and Senior Analyst on tactical execution strategic thinking and professional development.
  • Champion Process Development: Build and maintain scalable playbooks outreach models and performance tracking systems to support growth across all acquisition partnerships.

What You Bring:

  • You thrive in ambiguity and are energized by creating structure where none exists balancing speed with thoughtful execution in evolving environments.
  • You bring experience in sales business development or strategic partnerships and are confident managing deals end-to-end from outreach and negotiation through launch and renewal.
  • You know how to build and maintain a strong pipeline of partner opportunities prioritize effectively and move multiple deals forward simultaneously.
  • You are a clear persuasive communicator who can distill complex concepts into compelling strategic narratives for cross-functional teams and senior leaders.
  • Youre structured and detail-oriented with high operational standards and a strong sense of ownership in your work.
  • Youre intellectually curious and open to learning embracing feedback and change as part of growing a new and evolving function.
  • You bring a collaborative one-team mindset supporting peers building strong internal relationships and contributing to a positive high-performance culture.

The annual salary range for this position is $90000.00-$180000.00

Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
