CBC/Radio-Canada is currently seeking a Procurement Specialist to join our Supply Management team to support the transition from SAP to Oracle Fusion Cloud this contract role youll contribute to enhancing procurement processes system adoption and team readiness as we modernize our enterprise platform.
Reporting to the Senior Director and working closely with internal partners youll play a hands-on role in supporting the new procurement system contributing to process documentation issue resolution and stakeholder engagement.
Key Responsibilities
Support Oracle Fusion Cloud SCM Procurement Activities:
Assist with day-to-day support for the Oracle Procurement module helping internal users navigate the system and resolve basic issues.
Participate in identifying system-related process gaps and support training or documentation to close those gaps.
Contribute to creating and updating internal playbooks and user guides to reflect the new workflows and procurement practices.
Assist with preparing or executing User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for procurement-related enhancements.
Help document procurement procedures related to requisitions supplier onboarding and contract compliance within Oracle.
Procurement Process Documentation & Coordination:
Become familiar with our version of the end-to-end process from requisition to payment.
Support efforts to map and document procurement workflows ensuring alignment with policies and procedures.
Assist in the setup of dashboards or reporting templates that help the team track progress and compliance.
Collaborate on initiatives that improve intake and documentation processes (e.g. upload/download steps or off-system workarounds).
Cross-Team Collaboration:
Liaise with internal teams (e.g. Legal Finance Risk Operations) to collect inputs or support adoption of new procurement processes.
Participate in meetings and working sessions to gather feedback and flag system or process issues.
Assist with internal communications and presentations about procurement changes as needed.
Continuous Improvement & Learning:
Stay informed about Oracle Fusion Cloud features and updates that could support our procurement transformation.
Help identify and log opportunities for process improvements or system enhancements.
Support team efforts in improving supplier portal use onboarding tools and contract compliance tracking.
Were looking for someone with:
23 years of experience in procurement sourcing or supply chain roles ideally in a large or complex organization.
Experience or familiarity with Oracle Fusion Cloud SCM particularly the Procurement module.
Strong attention to detail and an interest in working with systems and process documentation.
A collaborative approach with good interpersonal and communication skills.
Comfortable working with digital tools (Google Workspace or Microsoft Office) and learning new platforms.
A flexible solutions-focused mindset and the ability to support multiple projects at once.
Bilingualism (French and English) is a preferred asset.
