Status: Contract Full Time - 13 Month Contract
Salary Range: $114196 to $142747 per annum plus comprehensive benefits
Work mode: Hybrid; 2 on-site days per week which can increase based on operational needs.

Hours of work:35 per week
Are you aseasoned Project Manager with direct work experience managing and administering projects in the fields of Roadway Design Storm Design Structural or Civil Engineering Do you possess confidence and theability to make effective decisionson Major Capital Projects
Do you havework experience related to Capital Transportation including design and construction and operation of Transit Infrastructure Roads Bridges and associated storm infrastructure
You will be responsible for the management of large complex capital projects. The role requires extensive negotiation collaboration and communication with internal and external stakeholders environmental agencies and the public. The projects assigned will be for a 35-year duration and includes Transit culverts bridges traffic signals storm infrastructure with major road construction.
What you will do in this role:
Manage and administer all phases of project delivery from initiation and planning through to execution monitoring and close-out.
Lead the selection procurement and evaluation of new technologies and methodologies.
Prepare and manage Requests for Proposals (RFPs) including defining scope of work and terms of reference.
Develop tender documents award contracts and oversee contract execution.
Control and monitor project budgets cash flows schedules and reporting.
Liaise with internal departments Regional Councillors external agencies municipalities and the public.
Negotiate and secure approvals from environmental agencies (CVC TRCA MNRF NEC DFO MECP).
Lead project teams and oversee full-time on-site inspectors.
Provide budget estimates project schedules and prepare Business Cases for infrastructure funding needs.
Conduct Value Engineering reviews to ensure constructability and maximize value.
Coordinate and oversee third-party design and construction deliverables including the review of technical submissions through industry software platforms.
Attend onsite meetings with partners like Metrolinx and internal Regional staff to resolve design and construction challenges.
Participate in the development and application of the Project Management Implementation Manual (PIPM) to standardize project delivery processes.
Identify and drive new business practices to improve infrastructure project delivery.
Stay current on emerging technologies industry standards and regulatory changes.

Work Mode & Job Location: In this role youll enjoy the flexibility of a hybrid work arrangement. This means youll have the ability to work off-site and on-site as needed depending on operational needs at the 10 Peel Centre Drive Brampton ON worksite. The frequency of on-site work may vary from week to week depending on operational demands which can evolve over time.
Its important to note that your off-site work location must be within the province of Ontario. This ensures that were compliant with all regulations and policies.
