Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Glaucoma Specialist (MD or DO) to join an amazing ophthalmology team. This role requires a skilled surgeon with a focus on glaucoma management who is willing to commute between Hillsborough and Pinellas Counties. With a strong emphasis on excellence the team is dedicated to providing personalized high-quality services while encouraging continuous learning and community engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform a variety of glaucoma surgeries including SLTs CPCs LPIs MIGs tubes/shunts and trabeculectomy.
- Provide comprehensive glaucoma care to patients.
- Collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals to ensure the highest quality of care.
- Patient Care:
- Expect to see 30-40 or more patients per day depending on practice and support staff availability.

Requirements:
- Board Certification is required.
- Preferred experience in glaucoma surgery; however we will consider 2026 fellowship graduates and new graduates.
- While not mandatory proficiency in Spanish would be helpful.
