CA - Westlake VillageWhat youll do:
As an Operations Manager youll participate in managing various vendors addressing reporting needs and leading user acceptance testing on different applications. Youll manage a team of Operations Analyst and Operations Support Specialist I that will work with external vendors and provide operational support to the team. You and your team will also support ad-hoc initiatives and projects to help increase efficiency and quality for the operation teams.- Cultivate and maintain relationships with vendors.
- Track application releases and coordinate user acceptance testing; provide final operational approval prior to releases.
- Coordinate application release impacts with the Training team; assist with creation of job aids as applicable.
- Maintain a consistent and constant flow of communication with team members and managers; articulate thoughts with a level of detail and accuracy. Create and present relevant information (trends accomplishments opportunities etc.) as needed for management meetings.
- Lead and develop a team; responsible for hiring coaching performance management training and development.
What youll need:
- 5 years of related experience in Data Analytics & Data Management or similar field.
- Bachelors degree in related field required.
- Previous leadership experience required.
- Intermediate knowledge of residential mortgage industry in Correspondent or Retail Lending; including sales operations capital markets and/or other residential mortgage products and services.
- Entry level to intermediate knowledge of applicable regulatory and legal compliance obligations rules and regulations industry standards and practices.
- Intermediate to advanced experience with Microsoft SQL Server and Excel VBA.
- Intermediate experience mortgage software (Encompass).
- Advanced speaking and writing communication skills.
