Are you looking for a rewarding and flexible role that fits around school holidays and family life If so a position within Governor Services could be the perfect fit for you.
School governors make up the largest volunteer group in the country. They come from all walks of life united by a shared commitment to childrens education and a desire to support their schools and communities. As a Governing Body Adviser youll be trained and employed by Lancashire County Council to provide expert advice and guidance to governing bodies across the region.
Key Responsibilities:
- Be an enthusiastic and active member of the governing body team.
- Be willing to ask questions and contribute as a critical member the board.
- Coordinate Governing Body meetings in collaboration with the Headteacher and Chair of Governors and accurately record discussions and agreed actions.
- Offer up-to-date advice to governing body members supporting and constructively challenging their decisions.
