JOB SUMMARY:
Supervise the activities of the Slot Department with special emphasis on ensuring the delivery of FOCUS to all slot customers by slot employees.
GENERAL REQUIREMENTS:
High school diploma required.
One-year casino experience required preferably in Slot operation.
Must possess strong supervisory and leadership skills.
Previous guest contact experience required.
Must possess a thorough understanding of slot floor operations.
Must have strong knowledge of the various internal written and verbal codes/abbreviations.
Must project professionalism and possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Knowledge of casino rules regulations and procedures pertinent to Slot operations is required.
Must possess basic math skills.
Must be able to read write speak and understand English.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Delivers FOCUS through the supervision of Slot employees to ensure the delivery of great time every time to all guests.
Manages the day-to-day operation of Slot service on assigned shift.
Monitors appearance of all facilities and service areas and follows-up to ensure cleanliness standards are at the highest level.
Responsible for monitoring staffing levels bank/floor assignments daily and weekly schedules to include breaks.
Monitors compliance with all established company departmental and regulatory agency rules and regulations; provides training feedback and disciplinary action regarding these rules and regulations.
Provides each employee with clear directives needed to meet departmental standards and achieve departmental and company goals.
Exhibits sound decision-making qualities motivates personnel and exhibits effective supervisory skills.
Possesses a thorough working knowledge of the various types of slot machines their functions malfunctions and layout schedules.
Maintains security of all games money and employees.
Takes advantage of opportunity to build long term relationships with customers.
Routinely strives to build and maintain rapport with Slot players and handles customer disputes making every effort to achieve customer satisfaction.
Ensures that all performance reviews disciplinary notices and superior job performance notices are complete on time and accurate.
Make recommendations to the Slot Shift Manager and/or the Director of Slot Operations to improve the efficiency of the department and build business.
Builds a rapport and coordinates daily functions with support service departments.
Spends the majority of time interviewing training and selecting employees.
Conducts Performance Reviews.
Makes or recommends wage increases.
Makes or recommends promotions.
Provides for safety and security.
Handles employees complaints or grievances.
Recommends disciplinary action or disciplines employees.
Plans work.
Supervises and monitors work.
Monitors legal compliance with federal state and gaming laws.

JOB SUMMARY:
Ensure slot playing customers are kept in play by experiencing the full range of fast and friendly slot service through well maintained machines efficient change service and promotion of customer programs and events such as Total Rewards and slot tournaments.
GENERAL REQUIREMENTS
Able to obtain Louisiana Gaming License.
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Able to accurately and legibly fill out accounting forms for position.
Must be able to obtain a Responsible Vendor Training card
Must have knowledge or the ability to obtain knowledge of casino rules procedures and regulations pertaining to Slot Operations.
Must demonstrate the ability to add subtract multiply and divide.
Must understand safety issues associated with electrical equipment.
Must read write speak and understand English.
Must be willing to serve customers from a variety of backgrounds.
Must be willing to work nights weekends and holidays and work overtime.
Must meet the attendance guidelines of the job and adhere to regulatory departmental and company policies.
Must have the ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization.
Must be able to perform any and all other duties as assigned by the Supervisor or Department Head.
Essential Job Functions:
Actively patrols assigned sections looking for opportunities to surprise and delight guests.
Completes hopper fills paper fills and jackpot payouts promptly accurately and with a high degree of personalized service while building relationships with guests.
Consistently demonstrates a positive and upbeat attitude.
Completes verification paperwork for jackpot payouts.
Partners with other departments to execute slot transactions.
Offers assistance to slot playing customers and explains features of slot machines.
Clearly communicates functionality of Fast Cash (ticket in/ticket out) technology.
Manages a large number and variety of slot machines played by customers according to policy and their level of play.
Responds immediately to all requests for service (e.g. slot dispatch slot candle lights radio PBX customers) while meeting or exceeding department service standards.
Exchanges coupons and currency for guests in compliance with procedures.
Resolves guest complaints through the use of Service Recovery with a sense of urgency and empathy with approved levels of authority (e.g. change service incorrect change securing drink service etc.).
Keeps slot areas clean secure and well maintained.
Keeps delays to a minimum by ensuring we have the right people in the right place at the right time.
Takes initiative to meet the varying needs of our customers and has an awareness of where customers are located in a particular section.
Determines and corrects minor machine malfunction (e.g. coin jams printer errors bill validators slot light repairs etc.) and identifies appropriate action.
Performs basic machine maintenance to ensure machines are ready for play.
Participates in slot machine upgrades and implementing new initiatives.
Performs money-handling transactions such as paying jackpots and making change.
May be required to reconcile slot wallets.
Adheres to regulatory departmental and company policies in an ethical manner.
Ensures required gaming licenses are valid and up to date.
Coordinates with Supervisors and Security to detect and prevent attempts to place customers and employees at risk compromise the integrity of the slot machines or damage company assets.
Properly maintains all issued tools and equipment including proper key control.
Promotes and generates new membership into the Total Rewards program.
Communicates specific information about casino events (e.g. slot tournaments marketing promotions and direct mail) and communicates general information about property events or services (e.g. restaurants shows conventions) and directs or personally escorts customers to appropriate sources for more information (e.g. information booths phone numbers supervisors etc.).
DEMANDS TO COMPLETE ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

Able to occasionally lift and carry up to 60 lbs. (e.g. hopper fill bags).
Able to bend reach kneel twist and grip items in order to perform basic machine repairs hopper fills etc.
Able to walk and remain standing for 8-10 hours with breaks.
Able to adjust pace based on customer demands and business volume while consistently meeting or exceeding department service standards.
Able to respond to visual and auditory cues.
Must possess the manual dexterity and coordination to operate equipment.
Must present a well-groomed appearance.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Must be able to get along with coworkers and work as a team.
Must maintain professional composure in all situations (e.g. demanding or threatening customer and during periods of high business volume)
Able to tolerate areas containing secondary smoke high noise levels bright lights and dust.
