Job Description

The Inventory Associate is responsible for safely operating warehouse equipment organizing and maintaining inventory and optimizing warehouse space for efficiency. This role involves staging and returning items for use by other teams identifying resourceful uses for donated goods and providing clear instructions on item usage. The associate will also communicate professionally with other departments and report safety or equipment issues promptly.


Responsibilities

  • Operate forklifts pallet jacks or other equipment safely.
  • Organize the inventory products and give instructions on the use of items
  • Organize and maintain warehouse space to optimize efficiency.
  • Recognize uses for items that are donated that maximizes resources
  • Communicate with other departments to resolve issues in a courteous & professional manner
  • Report any equipment issues or safety Hazards promptly.
  • Staging of items for other teams to work on and utilize
  • Return items to inventory that other teams have completed work on

Requirements

  • Able to speak & read English
  • Able to complete a Post Offer / Pre-Employment Physical Test
  • Able to complete a background check.
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs & use a hand truck & electric pallet jack
  • Must have current forklift training certification or be willing to receive certification
  • Proficient in computer technology including Outlook Excel PowerPoint & Word
  • Proven skills in organizing resources & maintaining records
  • Excellent written oral & interpersonal communication skills

Schedule

This position is full-time.
