Shift Time: 9a-7:30p
Description
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Opens and closes the store following department procedures.
- Counts cash register at beginning and end of day completes cash handling reports and bank deposits.
- Processes and handles payments for merchandise via Point Of Sale Cash Register.
- Provides excellent customer service by greeting customers answering the telephone taking phone orders giving directions handling complaints and requests and assisting the customer with the appropriate selection of merchandise.
- Maintains terminal and work area by dusting sweeping and light cleaning.
- Stocks organizes and displays merchandise per managers direction.
- Accurately completes required receiving paperwork as needed. Performs related responsibilities as required.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- A high school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- At least two years of prior retail sales experience including using a POS cash register opening and closing stores making end of day deposits merchandising product and following a planogram/floor layout.
- Must be able to stand for 4-6 hours consecutively lift up to 30 lbs of product bend stoop reach and grasp.
- Must be able to work a flexible shift including days nights and weekends.
- Must be comfortable working independently with limited supervision and making decisions based on store policies and procedures.
