Bush Heritage Australias Seeding the Future team is recruiting to fill a fantastic opportunity for a Social Media & Digital Comms Intern.

This is an exceptional opportunity to make a very real contribution to the protection of Australias unique wildlife and their habitat.

About the role

Bush Heritages 2030 Strategy is to improve biodiversity protection function and connectivity across landscapes. Our Supporters play a central role in our work and our social media is imperative to this. The Social Media & Digital Comms Intern will be mentored across all aspects of Not-for-Profit social media strategies and deliverables.

What youll need to succeed


You will have your finger on the pulse of the latest social media trends and have experience creating content for a range of platforms (Facebook Instagram LinkedIn).

A demonstrated understanding of social media platforms reporting and best practice and basic digital editing.

You will be organised quick to identify our brand and write in Bush Heritages tone of voice.
A desire to learn develop new skills collaborate and be innovative.
A commitment and passion for nature conservation and the objectives and values of Bush Heritage.
Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) in presenting information in a targeted clear and audience-appropriate way.
Advanced emotional competence with excellent interpersonal skills and capable of working effectively with a diverse range of people (staff volunteers and supporters and representatives of other organisations).
