We are looking for a casual sales assistant to join the team. As a Sales Assistant you will be responsible for delivering paint render & associated products loading & unloading deliveries along with assisting customers as required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver paint and associated products to customers in a timely and professional manner.
- Load and unload delivery vehicles ensuring correct items and quantities are dispatched.
- Maintain delivery vehicle in clean and roadworthy condition; conduct regular checks and report issues.
- Assist with warehouse duties including unpacking stock rotating inventory and general housekeeping.
- Occasionally assist in-store with customer service or tinting when required.
- Adhere to all safety procedures and product handling protocols especially for hazardous goods.
- Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain customer signatures as proof of delivery.
Skills and Requirements:
- Current and valid drivers license (manual preferred).
- Good knowledge of local roads and navigation tools.
- Physically fit able to lift paint cans (up to 1520kg) and other materials.
- Strong time management and communication skills.
- Prior experience in a delivery or warehouse role is advantageous.
- Basic understanding of paint products or willingness to learn.
