Under the direction of the Microbiology Lab Manager the incumbent provides resource and development in Microbiology. Act as the Microbiology antimicrobial specialist. Oversees and maintains competency testing in the Microbiology Division. Acts as the Quality Assurance specialist and works with the Quality Assurance manager to maintain quality in the Microbiology Division. Oversees studies method validation and special projects in the Microbiology Division. Collaborates and coordinates effectively with the various divisions of the Laboratory and its clients at all locations; ensures that all job duties are performed safely efficiently and in compliance with regulatory agencies and in a manner that denotes the team concept and reflects the UCSF and ZSFG mission vision and values. Your placement within the salary range is dependent on a number of factors including your work experience and internal equity within this position classification at UCSF. For positions that are represented by a labor union placement within the salary range will be guided by the rules in the collective bargaining agreement.
The salary range for this position is $68.80 - $85.72 (Hourly Rate).
