DescriptionWe are seeking a strategic and experienced Global Security and Safety Risk Manager to lead people-focused security programs across our global manufacturing operations. This role will be responsible for developing and implementing initiatives that protect our employees. A key focus will be on the safety and security of our field service technicians executive protection threat management crisis response and travel and safety. You will play a critical role in fostering a secure people-first culture that supports the well-being and resilience of our workforceincluding our Fleet Services group and mobile us safeguard the people who power our service and innovationfrom the office to the open road.
ResponsibilitiesKey Responsibilities:
- People Security Strategy:
Design and execute a global people security program that protects employees from physical psychological and operational threats across manufacturing sites and field operations. - Fleet Services & Mobile Workforce Protection:
Develop and manage safety and security protocols specifically tailored to our Fleet Services group including ATM site risk assessments incident response support and field safety and security strategies. - Travel & Executive Safety:
Oversee the creation and implementation of global travel security policies with tailored guidance for field technicians drivers and executives operating in high-risk or remote areas. Monitor global events and trends that may impact travel safety such as natural disasters epidemics and civil unrest. - Incident Management:
Develop global incident response plans related to people security ensuring rapid coordination and communication during emergencies. - Training & Awareness:
Implement training programs on personal safety threat recognition safe field operations and emergency preparedness with specific modules for drivers and field personnel. - Employee Support & Response:
Coordinate post-incident support debriefings and reintegration assistance for affected employees. - Collaboration & Reporting:
Partner with Fleet Services Operations HR Health and Safety and local security contacts to drive alignment and ensure consistent global implementation.
Qualifications- Bachelors degree in security management Criminal Justice Risk Management or a related field.
- 8 years of experience in global security roles with a focus on people protection workplace safety or threat management.
- Experience working with or supporting mobile workforces transportation teams or fleet operations.
- Strong knowledge of global threat landscapes safety regulations and risk mitigation best practices.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and implement security programs across diverse geographies.
- Communication skills: Effective communication to deliver clear guidance to travelers and stakeholders as well as collaboration throughout the organization including with Travel and Expense Business Resiliency HR Legal Global Protective Services and operations teams
- Technological proficiency: Familiarity with travel and risk management software and tools.
- Ability to travel internationally (up to 50%).
Preferred Skills:
- Understanding of transportation and fleet-related safety risks.
- Experience working with employee assistance programs (EAPs) HR investigations and trauma-informed practices.
- Familiarity with regulatory compliance in various global jurisdictions related to employee and contractor safety.
