Exercise Physiologist
Location: This role enables associates to work virtually full-time with the exception of required in-person training sessions providing maximum flexibility and autonomy. This approach promotes productivity supports work-life integration and ensures essential face-to-face onboarding and skill development.

The Exercise Physiologist is responsible for providing exercise guidance to disease management members.
How you will make an Impact:
Collaborates with nurse case managers in managing disease management health goals of members.
Implements the primary care physicians exercise recommendations providing safe and effective exercise instruction and guidance.
Provides member health coaching education assessment and support of behavioral changes to promote self-management of chronic conditions.
Provides members with education materials related specifically to member score condition.
Minimum Requirements:
Requires a BS/BA degree in exercise science exercise physiology kinesiology physical therapy or physical education and a minimum of 3 years experience as an exercise specialist exercise physiologist or fitness instructor/trainer developing exercise prescriptions for special populations; or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background.
Preferred Skills Capabilities and Experiences:
A minimum of 1 year cardiac rehab pulmonary rehab and physical therapy experience in clinical setting preferred.
Certification by the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) as a Health Fitness Instructor is strongly preferred.
MS in a related field and membership in American Society of Exercise Physiologist preferred.
