About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to join the Voice as a Service Engineering Team within the Workplace Technology Area.
In this role you will:
- Lead or participate in high-level technical concepts spanning technology and business.
- Develop specifications for complex infrastructure systems design and test solutions.
- Contribute to the testing of business application and technical infrastructure requirements.
- Drive solutions to reduce recovery time.
- Review and analyze solutions for cloud security secrets management and key rotations.
- Design code test debug and document programs using Agile development practices.
- Design complex system upgrades.
- Resolve troublesome trends as they develop.
- Develop a long-range plan designed to resolve problems and prevent them from recurring.
- Direct the daily risk and control flow of operations focusing on policies procedures and work standards to ensure success.
- Collaborate and consult with peers colleagues and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals.
Required Qualifications:
- 4 years of Technology Infrastructure Engineering and Solutions experience or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience training military experience education.
Desired Qualifications:
- Technical expertise in Microsoft Teams telephony Trader Voice infrastructure Networking and enhanced call recording technologies.
- Experience in engineering and implementing Cloud Voice Telephony such as MS Teams Voice & Cloud9 (Trader Voice).
- Demonstrated analysis and design experience in IP Telephony & Networking system administration configuration and implementation.
- Extensive experience in analyzing designing implementing and supporting Trader voice solutions such as Ring-Down Circuits (ARD MRD Hoot SIP).
- 5 years of experience troubleshooting environments across the entire architecture (i.e. applications to infrastructure).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong analytic and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated teamwork skills.
- MS Teams Certifications will be a plus.
- Bachelors degree in computers/electronics or equivalent.
Job Expectations:
- As a senior engineering member of the Voice as a Service Engineering team you will primarily focus on Microsoft Team Voice and the next-generation Trader Voice platform Cloud9. Your responsibilities will include capacity management collaborating with information security teams for vulnerability patching and upgrades infrastructure upgrade/patching activities leading efforts to upgrade to new versions change management testing strategy planning and providing level 4 support. You will also work closely with vendors and manufacturers for maintenance support implementation and configuration of the current environment.
- Provide design consultancy implementation and support services to the Specialized Communications & Telephony Services team for Telephony/Trader Voice Platforms supporting our critical infrastructure.
- Consult with Business & Technology Partners to determine technical requirements of projects and produce detailed design documentation based on architectural standards including physical and logical designs and configurations.
- Evaluate design configure and implement hardware and software components for Cloud and On-premises systems.
- Maintain technical roadmaps and assist in project forecasting.
- Participate in research and development efforts to expand new features and capabilities.
- Perform analysis and make recommendations affecting critical technical initiatives.
- Design and develop tools and applications to facilitate workflow and automate processes.
- Collaborate with other engineers to enhance processes conduct code reviews and improve internal infrastructure.
- Oversee the maintenance debugging and addition of new features to a suite of existing applications.
- Exhibit strong personal skills: drive self-starter initiative adaptability problem-solving and teamwork.
