Overview
Hospitalist: HH Health System Morgan LLC is seeking hospitalists to provide quality inpatient care and manage the care of hospitalized patients at Decatur Morgan Hospital Main Campus and Parkway Campus. The hospitalist provides comprehensive direct patient care and scholarly practice including obtaining comprehensive patient histories performing complete physical examination ordering and performing diagnostic testing and screening diagnosing illness prescribing both pharmacological and other treatments for patients and providing health maintenance and promotion interventions such as patient and family education and counseling.

Responsibilities
Provide quality inpatient care. Manage the care of hospitalized patients in coordination with primary care physicians and specialists. Admit/discharge patients. Diagnose treat or provide continuous care to hospitalized patients. Order studies test and ancillary services. Prescribe medications or treatment regimens to hospital inpatients. Document all services in patient medical record. Work at Decatur Morgan Hospital Main Campus at 1201 7th Street SE Decatur AL 35601; and Decatur Morgan Hospital Parkway Campus at 1874 Beltline Road SW Decatur AL 35601.
Qualifications
M.D. degree or its equivalent. A valid Alabama medical license.
