Data Integrity Coordinator

Employment Term (days): 226

Pay Scale: Administrative Instructional 5

Primary Purpose:

Oversees the Public Education Information Management System (PEIMS) reporting to the state.

Maintains the accuracy security and integrity of all assessment and accountability data supporting data-driven decision-making across the district.

Qualification Guidelines:

Education/Certifications:

Bachelors degree from accredited university

Valid Texas Teaching certificate

Masters degree (preferred)

Mid-Management or Principal certification (preferred)

Experience:

Three years of classroom teaching experience

Two years of campus-level leadership

State Assessment Administration Data Analysis

Special Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

Data analysis processes in relation to instructional planning

Principles and techniques of budget preparation and control

Current state and federal laws regulations and codes applicable to planning and accountability processes

Current district and state curriculum

Knowledge of Student Information Systems

District educational initiatives programs and policies

Principles and practices of administration supervision and professional development

Ability to:

-Keep current about related educational research and trends; and applicable federal state and district laws rules and regulations and procedures

-Establish and maintain cooperative and effective working relationships with others

-Develop and deliver presentations and conduct effective training for district staff and community/advisory groups

-Plan prioritize and manage programs projects and budgets to meet timelines and utilize resources effectively

-Analyze problems make decisions and be responsible for those decisions in collaboration with district and campus staff

-Communicate effectively both orally and in writing
