Job Description
Valley View Hospital is looking for a qualified individual to work in The Gastroenterology Center as a full-time Scheduling Communication Coordinator. Scheduling experience preferred.
Office position to coordinate scheduling endoscopic procedures for the Gastroenterology team. Requires high attention to detail teamwork and excellent customer service. Experience with healthcare clinics and electronic medical records highly preferred. Our procedures assist patients with treatment in swallowing reflux and digestive issues. Bilingual is a must. Full-time day shift position working Monday - Friday
Previous office experience preferred.
GENERAL OBJECTIVES:
- Performs data entry related to charging logging and quantifying GI Center activities.
- Enhances the communication between the GI Center Surgical Services hospital departments and physician office staff.
- Functions as a receptionist and remains professional and positive when dealing with stressful situations and multiple demands related to the operation of the GI Center
QUALIFICATIONS
- High school graduate or equivalent required
- Medical terminology required.
- Scheduling experience preferred.
- Bilingual preferred.

SALARY
- Entry salary dependent upon education skill set and experience
- Position wage range: $21.23to$31.22/hour.
