Lake Ridge Assisted Living & Park View Assisted Livingtwo welcoming Cassia communities in Buffalo MN are seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse LPNto join our team!In this unique float role youll have the opportunity to support both campuseslocated just steps apartcollaborating with dedicated teams to ensure exceptional resident care.
As a Licensed Practical NurseatLake Ridge Assisted Living & Park View Assisted Living youll provide nursing care administer medications and treatments monitor resident health as well as monitor nursing personnel during assigned shift. Position Type: Full-Time (32 hours) with limited on-call. Willfloat between both sites Lake Ridge Assisted Living and Park View Assisted Living.
Shifts Available:8:30am to 5:00pm
Wage Range: $29 - $35 / hour depending on experience
Bonus: $5000
Lake Ridge Assisted Living Location:310 Lake Blvd S Buffalo MN 55313
Park View Assisted Living Location:613 Montrose Blvd Buffalo MN 55313
Licensed Practical Nurse Responsibilities:
- Displays a courteous attitude and respect for all residents families and staff.
- Works to coordinate oversee and provide resident-related care.
- Administers medications and/or treatments in accordance with physicians orders and monitors for effectiveness/response.
- Manages medications supplies and equipment including ordering receiving storing and disposing of all items in accordance with policies and procedures.
- Documents care using computerized medication administration and charting software.
- Notifies Clinical Manager attending physicians and family members of significant changes in a residents condition and takes follow up action as necessary.
- Monitors nursing personnel on duty during the assigned shift.
- Does admissions assessments and discharges.
- Must be in good standing with the Minnesota Board of Nursing and have current MN LPNlicense.
- Current BLS certification required.
- Must have strong communication and organizational skills.
- Self-starter with a desire to be a part of a team.
