Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cloud Architect Security & Cybersecurity to lead the design of secure cloud architectures define robust security policies and implement best practices across our cloud environments. This role requires deep technical expertise in cloud security a strategic mindset and hands-on experience across AWS Azure or Google Cloud platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement secure scalable and high-performing cloud architectures aligned with organizational goals.
- Define and enforce cloud security policies standards and governance frameworks.
- Evaluate and apply best practices for data protection identity and access management and threat mitigation across cloud platforms.
- Conduct risk assessments and design mitigation strategies for infrastructure and application layers.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including DevOps infrastructure and compliance to ensure secure cloud deployment.
- Lead cloud security audits and proactively identify vulnerabilities and areas for improvement.
- Stay current with emerging security threats technologies and compliance standards.
Required Qualifications:
- 5 years of experience in cloud architecture and cloud security design.
- Proven expertise in one or more cloud platforms: AWS Microsoft Azure or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- In-depth understanding of cloud-native security tools identity & access management (IAM) firewalls encryption and compliance frameworks (e.g. ISO 27001 NIST GDPR).
- Strong experience with infrastructure-as-code (e.g. Terraform CloudFormation) and automation for secure deployments.
- Certifications such as CISSP CCSP or AWS Certified Security Specialty Azure Security Engineer Associate or equivalent.
Preferred Skills:
- Hands-on experience with SIEM EDR and cloud workload protection platforms (CWPP).
- Experience in incident response and disaster recovery planning in cloud environments.
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
