About the Role
The Clarendon Community Mental Health managers role is of utmost importance. They are responsible for providing effective leadership and managing the Continuing Care Teams and other community-based programs at Clarendon Clinic. The managers duties also include ensuring that all key performance indicators are met and that exemplary service standards are maintained.
The classification for this role will be YC92 with an additional over award (total base salary approx. $137k per annum)
Your Contribution
Knowledge and experience of the mental health service system and Mental Health legislation in the Victorian context
A valid Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check or willing to obtain

About the Mental Health Service
St. Vincents Mental Health (SVMH) includes an adult area mental health service for the inner-city areas of Yarra and Boroondara. The adult mental health service components are Footbridge Community Care Unit (CCU) a 44-bed Acute Inpatient Service (AIS) located on the St. Vincents Hospital site the North Fitzroy PARC and two community mental health services (CMHS) at Hawthorn and East Melbourne (Clarendon CMHS) the community also comprises of the Primary Mental Health Team and STAY housing support. Community mental health services include the Community Acute Response Team (CART Triage and Crisis Assessment and Treatment Service (CATS) Extended Triage (ET) Emergency Department Mental Health (EDMH) PACER Police support and HOPE (Suicide Prevention). Other services include Continuing Care (CCT) Mobile Support and Treatment (MST) and Homeless Outreach (CHOPS) services. A Consultation & Liaison Service is provided to the health service. NEXUS Dual Diagnosis Service and the Body Image and Eating Disorders Assessment and Treatment Service (BETRS) are regional services. Statewide services are the Victorian Dual Disability Service and the Victorian Transcultural Mental Health. The Acute Inpatient Service includes five beds designated as the Koori Statewide Inpatient Service and linked to the Victorian Aboriginal Health Service.
