JOB DESCRIPTION
We are looking to hire a Cable Technician to support our Voice Communication and Technologies division.
WHAT YOULL GET TO DO
- Pull route and terminate CAT 5e and CAT 6 cable onto jacks and patch panels
- Terminate phone jacks and dressing and terminating distribution frames (66 or 110 blocks patch panels)
- Install support structures (ladders racks j-hooks)
- Install wiring for a variety of systems including but not limited to Access Control Overhead Paging Voice/Data Networks and Security.
- Maintain a clean work environment
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- At least 5 years of cabling experience
- Strong work ethic willingness to learn and positive attitude
- Ability to take direction and be self-motivated
- High School diploma or equivalent
