As a Senior Software Engineer you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of our products and services.
What youll do...
Troubleshoot and monitor production environment of remote lab at Vizio.
Develop alerting and notification applications/dashboards.
Investigate and resolve hardware and software incidents.
Handle hardware assets and onboard new users to the remote lab.
Provide end-user support via email chat and phone.
Collect and analyze user feedback to enhance the remote lab experience.
Develop documentation and knowledge base articles.
Leverage GitHub Copilot LLM-based assistants and other AI tools to accelerate development enhance code quality and drive innovation in automation and tooling.
What Youll Bring
Expertise in Python programming and Linux system engineering.
Strong application support and troubleshooting skills.
Experience with system administration and cloud engineering.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Passion for helping users and improving their experience.
Bonus Points
Experience with cloud platforms (e.g. AWS GCP Azure).
Knowledge of networking and security best practices.
Familiarity with ticketing systems (e.g. Jira Service Desk Zendesk).
Experience in a fast-paced agile development environment.
