Senior Information Security Specialist - TS
Xcelerate Solutions is Senior Information Security Specialist. Be an integral part of a team in managing baseline information system security controls to ensure the confidentiality integrity and availability of FBI networks systems and data. This role contributes to secure information sharing between CJIS and its partners and requires personnel with demonstrated expertise in meeting Revised Section 508 Standards. A core focus of this program is maintaining and modernizing a comprehensive lifecycle security model that governs all CJIS Division information systems and services. The position ensures compliance with federal laws and policies through the application of best practices independent assessments and secure solutions to mitigate threats and prevent unauthorized access or misuse Come join our award-winning organization and work with the most talented and brightest minds in the GovCon industry.

Responsibilities:
- Review of information systems to ensure that the management operational personnel and technical controls are functioning effectively during all phases of the systemlifecycle;
- Identifying and evaluating technical and operational security risks threats weaknesses andvulnerabilities associated with information systems;
- Information system compliance with governmentstandards and industry best practices including NIST OWASP Common Criteria DISA and SANSInstitute;
- Working in Agile development environments; Information security practices within the federaland/or state governments;
- Previous hands-on technical experience in networking systemadministration and development; and utilizing Splunk for audit log review and system alerting.
Minimum Requirements:
- Active Top Secret Security Clearance
- 6 years of experience
- Bachelors degree
- Certified in COMPTIA Sec or equivalent preferred.
