About the Role
As a key member of our legal team you will take on the nuanced and intellectually demanding work of defending professionals in malpractice actions and related claims.
Youll handle complex litigation from inception through resolution including:
- Drafting pleadings and motions
- Managing discovery
- Conducting depositions
- Engaging in settlement negotiations
- And for the right candidate trial work
You will work alongside senior partners with decades of experience and a sterling reputation in the fieldpeople who believe that mentorship is not just a buzzword but a professional responsibility.
What You Bring
- 28 years of litigation experience ideally with exposure to professional liability legal malpractice or complex civil litigation
- Impeccable writing and oral advocacy skillsyou know how to persuade how to think two steps ahead and how to write with both force and clarity
- Good judgmentthe kind that isnt taught in law school
- A disposition that values discretion professionalism and civility in all client and courtroom interactions
