Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership: Directly manage Reconstruction Project Coordinators Project Managers and Field Superintendents providing guidance coaching and support to ensure team effectiveness and professional growth.
- Project Oversight: Monitor project financials schedules and resource allocation to ensure projects stay on track and within budget. Review job estimates scopes and progress reports for accuracy and efficiency.
- Customer Escalations: Act as the primary point of contact for escalated customer issues ensuring timely and satisfactory resolution. Maintain positive relationships with customers and key stakeholders.
- Process Improvement: Identify develop and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency productivity and profitability across all locations.
- Communication and Coordination: Facilitate regular communication between field teams office staff and senior management. Participate in work-in-progress (WIP) meetings to monitor job status and address challenges.
- Performance Monitoring: Track and analyze operational performance metrics providing regular reports to senior management and recommending corrective actions as needed.
- Compliance and Safety: Ensure all reconstruction activities comply with company policies industry regulations and safety standards. Promote a culture of safety and risk management.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years experience in construction restoration or related operations management with at least 2 years in a multi-site leadership role.
- Skills:
- Strong leadership and team management abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in budgeting scheduling and project management
- Ability to analyze data and drive process improvements
- Experience handling customer escalations and maintaining client relationships
- Knowledge of construction and restoration industry standards and regulations
- Periodic travel required between eight locations in CO NM NV CA OR WA
- Office and field-based work as needed
- Must be available for after-hours support in case of emergencies
