Job Description
About the Role:
Pettus Ford De Soto is seeking a reliable hard-working and detail-oriented individual to join our team as aDetailer/Porter. This full-time position plays a vital role in our day-to-day operations by ensuring our vehicles are showroom-ready and assisting with lot management customer service and dealership flow. Responsibilities:
Clean detail and prepare vehicles for delivery or display
Wash wax vacuum and polish vehicle exteriors and interiors
Assist with lot organization and inventory movement
Transport vehicles on- and off-site as needed
Maintain cleanliness of the lot and service drive
Shuttle vehicles and customers when requested
Perform general porter duties (e.g. fueling jump-starting tire checks)
Support service and sales staff with vehicle-related tasks
Follow all safety guidelines and use proper cleaning techniques/products
Qualifications:
Valid drivers license with clean driving record
Strong work ethic and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Must be reliable punctual and professional
Ability to drive both manual and automatic transmission vehicles is preferred
Previous detailing or porter experience is a plus but not required
