As a Quality Engineer II you will support the quality function across manufacturing processes acting as a technical liaison between internal teams suppliers and customers. Your focus will be on driving continuous improvement ensuring compliance to quality standards and facilitating effective resolution of product and process issues.
Develop and maintain QA plans and process routings to reflect actual manufacturing activities.
Support quoting processes by contributing to early-phase process design and development.
Evaluate and improve inspection processes using inspection aids and documented instructions.
Develop and deliver targeted training programs to enhance quality awareness across departments.
Maintain and improve document control systems related to quality activities.
Review and coordinate resolution of supplier and customer discrepancies including corrective/preventative actions.
Perform trend analysis of defects from internal customer and supplier sources.
Participate in vendor survey and assessment activities to ensure supplier quality.
Drive proactive supplier engagement and support improvement efforts.
Ensure compliance with ISO EN4600 GMP and company-specific quality documentation requirements.
Provide technical guidance to quality staff and interface with customers as needed.
Leverage SPC and other data analysis tools to support corrective action and continuous improvement.
Coordinate quality-related meetings and support team-building activities to drive a culture of quality.
Adhere to all health safety and security policies.
Education:
Bachelors degree in a technical or related field preferred.
Experience:
Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in quality manufacturing or engineering.
Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered.
Working knowledge of quality systems tools and methodologies (e.g. root cause analysis corrective actions SPC).
Familiarity with ISO GMP and regulatory quality standards.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration.
Attention to detail with strong documentation and organizational skills.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Experience in a contract manufacturing or electronics manufacturing setting.
Exposure to Lean Six Sigma or other structured continuous improvement frameworks.
Familiarity with supplier quality processes and audits.
