Warehouse Operator
Location: Red Chris BC

Currently we have an opening for a Warehouse Operator. The Warehouse Operator is responsible for the shipment receipt and the distribution of materials in a timely manner.

What you will be doing
- Account for all materials and supplies in the facilities; audit goods received into warehouse.
- Oversee receipt storage and shipment of materials and related reporting in accordance with established procedures.
- Prepare and coordinate schedules for shipping and receiving materials to control the flow of goods and regulate warehouse space.
- Ensure the effectiveness of operating procedures space utilization and maintenance and protection of facilities and equipment.
- Process sales orders and invoices.
- Update and maintain the warehouse location system.
- Participate in customer on-call services as required.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Environmental Health and Safety
- Comply with safety policies and applicable government customer or industry regulations or requirements.
- Responsible for identifying and reporting any unsafe work habits workplace incidents and / or near misses. Perform risk assessments (Take Five) prior to each task.
- Maintain orderly work area and ensure housekeeping requirements are met.
- Attend Environmental Health and Safety related trainings.
- Wear the required personal protective equipment (PPE) assigned for each task.
What you will bring along
- High school diploma or equivalency.
- Minimum of one (1) year of warehouse or inventory experience.
- Experience in mining operations is considered an asset.
- Experience operating a forklift is required.
- Experience using computerized inventory management systems.
- Ability to work independently and as part of an integrated team.
- Detail-oriented with good time management and organizational skills.
- Computer literacy (MS Office).
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Ability to move up to 50 pounds.
- Valid drivers license in good standing.
