Job Description

Wheelers of Wisconsin Rapids with Wheelers Family Auto Group is looking for a Quick Lube Service Advisor Manager to join our team!
The right candidate will have a strong background in service management and excellent leadership skills. The day-to-day duties of Service advisors for our Quick Lane are greeting customers listening to the customers needs on the vehicle and determining the type of service required. Then you translate this information into a work order.

Responsibilities
  • Greet customers when they arrive for service
  • Confers with customers about inspection results recommend corrective procedures and prepare work orders for needed repairs
  • Schedules service appointments
  • Prepares a repair order showing time cost and labor estimates for service.
  • Refers to service history inspects vehicle and recommends additional needed service
  • Provides a complete and accurate written cost estimate for labor and parts.
  • Checks on the progress of repair throughout the day.
  • Contact customers regarding any changes in the estimate or promised time explain cost and time requirements in detail and get proper authorization before any additional repairs are performed.
  • Review repair orders to ensure that work is completed and additional work and authorization are noted.
  • Closes repair order as appropriate.
  • Consult with technicians about necessary repairs
  • Advise customers about warranty protections and potential cost savings
  • Manage and oversee the service centers workflow and scheduling
  • Call customers to inform them of changes in service or to let them know their vehicle is ready for pick-up
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma and GED required
  • Service advising experience preferred but not required
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Strong communication skills withemployees and senior management
  • Familiarity with R.O. Writer preferred
  • Clean driving record & valid drivers license
  • Driven personality eager to improve and able to work within and support internal teams
