Your role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Penetration Tester to join our growing security this role you will be a key contributor in safeguarding our digital assets and protecting sensitive information by proactively identifying vulnerabilities and recommending robust security solutions.
The role includes different responsibilities such as:
Lead Penetration Testing Engagements: Plan design and execute comprehensive penetration tests across a variety of systems and applications including web applications networks mobile platforms and cloud environments.
Employ Advanced Techniques: Utilize a wide range of penetration testing methodologies tools and techniques staying abreast of the latest vulnerabilities and attack vectors.
Detailed Vulnerability Analysis: Conduct in-depth analysis of identified vulnerabilities assessing their potential impact and providing clear and concise documentation of findings.
Develop Actionable Recommendations: Provide practical and effective remediation strategies and security recommendations to address identified vulnerabilities working closely with IT and development teams to implement solutions.
Threat Modeling and Risk Assessment: Contribute to threat modeling exercises and risk assessments proactively identifying potential attack scenarios and recommending appropriate security controls.
Technical Leadership and Mentorship: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior penetration testers fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and professional development within the team.
Stay Ahead of the Curve: Continuously research and evaluate emerging security threats vulnerabilities and attack techniques to ensure the teams testing methodologies remain cutting-edge.
Your profile
To succeed in this role we believe you have 5 years of hands-on experience in penetration testing with a demonstrated track record of success in identifying and exploiting vulnerabilities. You have a deep understanding of network protocols operating systems web technologies and common vulnerabilities.
Expertise in using industry-standard penetration testing and scripting languages. Industry-recognized certifications such as OSCP CEH GPEN or similar are desirable. You should also have a excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate technical findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.
If you have experience in specific industry verticals (e.g. aerospace defense finance) or experience with cloud security assessments thats preferable.
This position requires that you pass a security vetting based on the current regulations around/of security protection. For positions requiring security clearance additional obligations on citizenship may apply.
