You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailSchweitzer Engineering Laboratories is seeking a Project Coordinator Intern to review and edit a variety of business and professional documents. The ideal candidate will have a strong command of grammar style and tone with the ability to enhance clarity coherence and overall quality.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
1. Provide administrative support to the department and project teams including scheduling and coordinating meetings generating meeting minutes prepare presentations creating and maintaining action item lists.
2. Proofreading for errors ensuring consistency in formatting and language and refining content to align with our brand voice and objectives.
2. Provide support to project teams including maintaining project files creating and maintaining reports.
3. Manage simultaneous small projects as assigned.
4. Provide support for large projects
5. Follow and apply SEL Values Principles of Operations and World Class Manufacturing Principles.
6. Understand. Create. Simplify.
7. Other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
Local student pursuing a degree in Business Management or related field at an accredited institution.
Excellent communication skills a keen eye for detail and the ability to work efficiently under deadlines
Proven Expertise in Microsoft Office programs
Ability to learn and communicate technical information.
Strong writing documentation and speaking skills
Ability to learn new skills and assume new responsibilities
Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment
Ability to work independently and take initiative
Background check results satisfactory to SEL
Negative drug test result(s)
Preferred Qualifications
A background in editing corporate communications reports proposals or similar materials is highly desirable
Knowledge of Agile project management skills techniques and terminology
Knowledge of project management skills techniques and terminology
