Senior Versatile Technologist

Company:

The Boeing Company is looking for a highly experienced and detail-oriented Senior Versatile Technologist to join the team in Ridley Park PA.

As a Versatile Technologist you will lead the team and projects as well as design implement troubleshoot secure and maintain dedicated Program Information Technology Infrastructure that is required to deliver products to our customers.

The dedicated infrastructure will be configured to meet the required security compliance metrics (Risk Management Framework (RMF) Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) etc). The infrastructure will support various application stacks including Engineering design and analysis tools Software Development Environments (Jira GIT Jenkins etc) Oracle Structured Query Language (SQL) databases Java etc.

Position Responsibilities:

• Oversees system integration hardware and software installation configuration and disposition of servers and workstations to support the architecture

• Provides complex problem resolution root cause analysis and technical support for delivery systems

• Participates in the design validation and configuration management of computing delivery systems

• Plans and coordinates system changes

• Administers user system access and establishes safeguards to protect information to meet security requirements

• Oversees activities to monitor system performance to support capacity planning backup and disaster recovery planning

• Mentors leads and trains others

BasicQualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• 5 years of experience with installing configuring troubleshooting and administering current Linux versions

• 5 years of experience in integrating hardware and software components into a functional system

• 5 years of experience working within multi-disciplined teams to resolve business impacting computing issues

• 3 years of experience working with Virtualized Systems (i.e. VMWare) design and implementation

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• 3 years of experience with standardized Network Protocols and Services (i.e. Transmission Control Protocol (TCP)/Internet Protocol (IP) Virtual Local Area Network (VLAN) Domain Name System (DNS) Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP) Firewalls etc.)

• 2 years of experience in architecture designing and implementing a DevOps infrastructure

• 2 years of experience with Oracle and SQL Database Administrator (DBA)

• Experience with High Performance Computing (HPC) applications and frameworks
