The City of Philadelphias Community Violence Intervention (CVI) program Pushing Progress Philly (P3) will serve Philadelphians who are at least 18 years old at elevated risk of gun violence and resistant to typical interventions. Program components include street outreach case management transitional jobs coaching and behavioral health curriculum. P3s goals are to reduce disparities between neighborhoods particularly economic well-being and community safety disparities increase opportunities for Black men to participate in the workforce and to have increased economic security and improve neighborhood safety with a reduction in gun violence fewer homicides and safer streets. Neighborhoods of P3 program delivery currently include Germantown and may expand to other identified neighborhoods. This Senior Job Coach and Resource Coordinator role is part of EDSIs function as the Job Coaching and Transitional Jobs role in the P3 ecosystem.
Provide leadership and support to the Job Coaches ensuring they adhere to the P3 model mission and approach to service delivery
Ensure the Job Coach team provides high quality process driven services including orientation cognitive behavioral therapy through Control Alt Delete (CAD) sessions professional development (PD)activities career pathway coaching and skill development
Directly facilitate CAD sessions
Build and maintain relationships with fellow P3 providers community-based organizations other gun violence reduction programs and workforce and training partners
Provide support services to P3 participants
Offer resource education and resource referrals to P3 participants
Mentor and develop staff using a supportive and collaborative approach. This will include consistent practice of role modeling coaching performance assessment and feedback transparent and timely communications and other practices aligning with P3 and EDSI leadership framework.
Provide deep knowledge around community violence reduction best practices and implement protocols that follow values of non-exclusion strengths-based and trauma informed care
Ensure accurate and regular data reporting on all services provided
Provide orientation to participants moving from phase 1 to phase 2 of the P3 program
Coordinate with the outreach team to integrate effort communication and re-engagement
Review hours of activity progress and readiness to determine advancement to phase 3
Support orientation of transitional jobs activity
Conduct HR functions including and not limited to interviews hiring recommendations on-boarding training quarterly performance reviews improvement plans and weekly 1:1 supervision
Manage the daily scheduling of services provided by the TJ team including daily CAD classes PD worksites and events/specialized efforts for job coaching career exploration and hiring events
Facilitate train-the-trainer sessions on CAD content
Provide case reviews to ensure individual plans career pathways safety plans daily data entry and case notes are entered actively utilized and reassessed to best support participant progress growth and success
Facilitate CAD sessions PD sessions and weekly one-on-one coaching sessions with participants
Conduct CAD observation using customized template to ensure the curriculum remains actively relevant and job coaches have the skills to facilitate in an effective manner that results in beneficial and meaningful sessions that support prosocial behaviors and growth mindset
Collaborate with the Crew Manager on individuals safety individual action plans and career pathway plans
Work closely with behavioral health staff on any conflict resolution interventions and critical incident response planning and actions
Collaborate with the behavioral health provider to plan and implement staff wellness circles
Oversee and support tasks around daily data capture including hours of attendance and case notes
Provide necessary internal and external reports to Program Manager and P3 Director that monitor outcomes and progress with established goals
Closely coordinating with fiscal entity to confirm attendance for daily stipend distribution
Align professional development with career pathway education and real-life experiences from worksite activity
Source and distribute occupational skills training opportunities for P3 participants
Demonstrate de-escalation techniques to grow a trauma-informed environment that prioritizes safety. Handle incident reports grievances and collaborate across leaders on solutions when a critical incident or conflict occurs.
Responsible for facilitating team meetings with a focus on continual improvement and staff well-being
Develop key partnerships and maintain successful partnerships with external stakeholders
Demonstrate fluid approach to work and actively participate in continuous improvement

Bachelors degree in business education human resources liberal arts or related area is required
Experience in leading teams that provide direct service to at-risk populations required
Experience in group facilitation and individual coaching that implements trauma-informed motivational interviewing and behavioral modification principles
Experience in gun violence reduction and workforce development programs required
Must be able to demonstrate servant leadership values and success in a team-oriented environment
Knowledge of Microsoft applications
Excellent writing proofing problem-solving and presentation skills
Ability to interact with a wide variety of individuals and demonstrate a positive professional attitude
Individuals with criminal records and/or lived experience with community violence are encouraged to apply
Most be comfortable with local travel and have access to reliable transportation
