Job Description
Overview:
A well-established injection molding company with over 40 years of experience is seeking a Metrology Technician to support its Quality team and ensure molded parts meet precise customer specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
Program and operate Micro-Vu and CMM equipment
Perform dimensional inspections using CAD files and technical blueprints
Generate inspection reports including ISIRs and PPAPs
Maintain and schedule calibration of metrology tools
Contribute to continuous improvement and quality initiatives
Qualifications:
Experience in a metrology or quality role preferably in manufacturing or plastics
Familiarity with software such as Micro-Vu InSpect CMM Manager
Basic programming knowledge (Excel macros or Visual Basic is a plus)
Strong attention to detail and understanding of GD&T
Effective communication and collaboration skills
