Apply today to join our Ledcor Technical Services team in Milton Ontario!
Essential Responsibilities:
- Operate bucket trucks and man-lifts safely
- Install strand and cable including use of rollers lashers and pulling equipment
- Perform pole transfers and grounding
- Lead train and support field crews
- Maintain accurate daily production and materials tracking
- Ensure compliance with HSE requirements
Qualifications:
- 3 years of direct experience working as an Aerial Lineman
- Valid DZ or higher drivers license and clean driving record
- Experience operating an RBD (Digger Derrick) truck to dig holes for poles set poles tow pole trailers and install anchors
- Proficient in using bucket trucks for aerial telecommunications line work
- Skilled in utility pole climbing using spikes and rigging
- Experienced in new build and pole transfers; strong knowledge in strand building lashing grounding and transfer procedures
- Solid understanding of construction practices and ability to read and interpret construction documents
- Demonstrated ability to lead crews train new workers and ensure safe work practices
- Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate with stakeholders and resolve issues
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency with Microsoft Word Excel and Outlook
Work Conditions:
- Able to lift 50 lbs and work in all weather conditions
- Willing to travel as required
