About the role
We areseekinga highly skilled and experiencedIT Infrastructure Lead/Architectto design implement scale secure and manage resilient infrastructure solutions. This role is critical in shaping the strategic direction of our IT infrastructure ensuring alignment with business goals and leading modernization initiatives across cloud network data center end-user compute workplace productivity and AI environments.
What you will do
Architecture & Strategy
- Design andmaintainenterprise cloud infrastructure architecture.
- Define infrastructure standards roadmaps and best practices.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend adoption strategies.
- Leadership & Collaboration
- Lead cross-functional infrastructure teams and mentor junior engineers.
- Collaborate with application security and business teams to align infrastructure with organizational needs.
- Act as a technical advisor to senior leadership.
Project Delivery
- Lead infrastructure projects including cloud migrations upgrades and projects are delivered on time within scopeandbudget.
- Drive change managementthroughthe company to ensure adoption.
- Operations & Optimization
- Oversee the performance availabilityscalability& securityof infrastructure automation monitoring and proactive maintenance initiatives.
- Manage vendor relationships and service level agreements (SLAs).
Who you are and What you bring
- Bachelors degree in computer science Information Technology or related field.
- 12 years of experience in IT infrastructure with 3-5 years in architecture or leadership role.
- Cloud platforms (AWS preferable)
- Virtualization (VMware Nutanix)
- Networking (LAN/WAN SD-WAN Firewalls)
- Storage and backup solutions
- as Code CMDB IT Asset Management
- Workplace Productivity Solutions (Microsoft Jira JAMA)
- End Point Solutions (Windows MacSmartDevices)
- ITIL (Incident Problem Change Management)
- GenAIDeployment (CoPilot Code AssistantGenAIDevelopment frameworks)
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and compliance frameworks (e.g. NIST ISO 27001).
- Problem solving skills with a focus on root cause vs symptom management.
- Excellent communication leadership and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Certifications
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect / Azure Solutions Architect Expert
- Cisco CCNP/CCIE or equivalent
- VMware VCP
- ITIL Foundation or higher
The base salary range for this position for Bay Area candidates is $130000 to $190000
The base salary range for this position for Texas candidates is $110000 to $167000.
The base salary range for this position for Texas candidates is $110000 to $167000.
This salary range may be modified in the future. The successful candidates starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills experience education or training work location and market conditions. This position is also eligible for bonuses equity and benefits.
